Billy Paul (Williams) is a family member of Jimi Williams so Jimi knew the song well. When Carla Benson said it was one of her favorites also from the time The Sweeties recorded the background with Billy, Ingram decided to record it as the first solo project for Jimi Williams – and Benson, Sharon Ingram and Nikita Harmon are singing the background vocals almost note for note as they did the first time, all those years ago. The new single is presented here along with a special instrumental version of the track as an added bonus.
